Significant titles include Annals of Thoracic Surgery, American Journal of Hypertension, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Genes & Development, Protein Science, RNA, and Fertility and Sterility, also numerous nursing and trauma textbook titles.

Copyediting and checking proofs for drug company-sponsored newsletter: Dermatology Focus, for physicians.

Copyediting and prepress for compilation volumes: Pronghorn: Ecology and Management for University of Colorado Press; Biology of Marine Mammals, Bat Biology and Conservation, and Ecology and Management of Moose in North America, and North American Elk: Ecology and Management for Smithsonian Institution Press and for Wildlife Management Institute.

Development of manuals for Family Physicians in dermatology, ankle & hip pain, neck & shoulder pain, pelvic pain, and in-office procedures for a Boston publisher.

Prepress & graphic design for The Teacher’s Guide to New York City’s Forests for the Urban Forest and Ecology Program.

Conducted seminars and workshops for teachers (for in-service credits), civic and juvenile organizations. Booked guest lecturers for special events. Prepared visual aids and other training material for teachers’ in-service courses.

Taught biology and ecology to school children, using Queens Botanical Garden (NYC) as a study area. Wrote gardening pamphlets giving easy-to-understand instructions to the local city gardener.

Conducted field research and wrote reports on mercury pollution and its effects on shore birds (mainly terns) on Long Island's barrier reef islands.
